Any recommended stainless steel fabricators?

I need something made to reinforce and support the current steel frame supporting some heavy weight.  However the steel is starting to rust and I would like to make sure the steel frame doesn't collapse at some point.

Hard to recommend stainless steel suppliers because they charge rip off prices for their product.

If it's not near or in a salt water pool are you sure you need stainless steel?  Would galvanized steel, or even steel painted with anti rust proofing, do the job?

I noticed you asked similar questions in a thread some years ago : https://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/554107-looking-for-stainless-steel-fabrication-place/

No satisfaction back then?

Long time ago I used a shop in Town, or better, just before town. Take the short cut to Panwa (after the footbridge after 7/11 on Chao Fa East, at the traffic lights right), at the small traffic circle at the end of that road go straight, so not direction Sakdidej Road, After about 500 km's are some sidestreets left, by heart I think it was the 3rd sidestreet, but better check/ask on the spot there.

Painted Steel hasn't done the job and I doubt galvanized will either.  Unfortunately a few years ago no satisfaction and I've slowly watched the rust getting worse, so it's time to act before I hear a loud boom in the night.

A couple of years ago I had a bar installed in what was an understair 'dead' space.   The bar is topped with marble, and because there is a large overhang either side of the bar 'wall', the marble shop said that I should have stainless steel bars installed underneath the marble for support (I hadn't realised that marble was actually soft and brittle compared to granite).

So, they arrange for the SS bars, which are 50cm long, 50mm wide, and 10mm thick.   They were extremely expensive, almost the same cost of the marble itself.   Don't know who the SS company were, but the marble shop is on Chaofa West, a couple of 100 metres on the right going north from the Kwang Road junction in case you're going past and want to ask them.

Brent from PCYC in Chalong would know.

Fabrication will probably be the major expense, as opposed to material cost.

I bought a large amount of 2" SS tubing last year, and if I recall correctly, it was well under 600 baht/meter. When working with SS, you generally can't use a plain old arc welder - you need a TiG welder, argon gas, and someone skilled at this type of welding. Because of the specialized equipment, skill level and the fact that a lot of time and effort goes into polishing the area around any welds to make them invisible, fabrication can be expensive.
