Man Flies From Isaan Just To Buy Yaa Baa In On Nut: Police

Pittawat Chanthong, 19, points to the yaa baa he was arrested with Wednesday morning.

BANGKOK — A man was arrested and charged with possession and use of drugs after he was intercepted flying in from Isaan just to pick up some yaa baa in the capital early Wednesday morning.

Pittawat Chanthong, 19, was arrested by police after his taxi was stopped at a police checkpoint at 1am in the Pom Prap Sattru Phai district, where police found yaa baa or methamphetamines in a box of foot pads he was carrying. His urine also tested positive for drugs.

May I ask this in the Pattaya forum , because I believe Bangkok may be different Air conditioned bars , i am observing they get less customers, do you believe I'm correct ? I had a farang recently who told me that particular bar failed as it had glass windows and was air conditioned, I was absolutely and what's the word.... gobsmacked! Does it make you consider stepping in perhaps some hesitation ? and opening the glass doors to go in , do you prefer open bars and why ? I didn't notice

Maybe you've been away too long - the internet is readily available where there is blue sky....and guess what, ironically, Montana is known as Blue Sky Country. I don't plan on relocating anywhere else. I've been here (Thailand) for about 25 years now, and still love it. However, if something changed here, and I thought I ought to move, my "Plan B' is moving to somewhere in the Aleutian Islands in Alaska, which are the islands that curve upward from the bottom of Alaska towards Russia. I think they would be a good place to be as Global Warming intensifies, and I like the idea of living somewhere in the woods.
