I refer to Israel Folateau exprssing his view on homosexuality

In some cases (such as this) an individual sports personality may have different opinions from those of their team management, or regulatory body, regarding controversial issues.

Should they be prevented from expressing those views by their team management or governing body? Is inclusivity mandatory for individuals?  Is freedom of speech subservient to inclusivity?

That guy, Israel, sounds a bit naive, but of course i would respect his views.

If we put too many limitations to freedom of speech, it becomes a travesty.

( already is )

Perhaps we should blame the media for reporting the opinions of sports personalities on topics not related to their area of expertise.

I haven't listened to this clip.. don't know his opinion.

So without knowing his opinion id say why not...  everyone has an opinion and they can say what they want.

Problem is people will associate it with a team a club or whatever... that will cause problems for the club or the team if they have an other opinion.

Then they can come out too with their opinion.

It should not be banned but should be up to the clubs teams to make agreements with players about stuff like this.

But in the end everyone is entitled to an opinion.
