PHUKET: A 27-year-old Ukrainian man is safe after being recovered five kilometres off Bang Tao Beach by fishermen yesterday evening (April 18).

 

Capt Winai Wutthiban of the Cheng Talay Police was called to the beach at 6:30pm.

 

By the time police arrived, however, Cherng Talay Municipality rescue workers were already providing first aid to the man, named as “Josie” Marh.
