i will come from uk then into bkk and meet my friend on 3 may then go together

any advice thanks

UK Nationals can enter visa free for up to 15 days, though you must show a return ticket, the visa free option is currently available until June though they have been extending the option of late.

You can apply for an evisa, either through the official site, evisa, or via the myriad of private companies that offer a visa on arrival service.

If you make your trip prior to June you will get a 15 day visa exempt entry as a UK passport holder.

Your friend will get a 30 day visa exempt entry.

Because you said that you wanted to travel one way and entering visa free requires possession of a return ticket.
