Illegal, pirated software? Why bother when the originals are so cheap and you can support the people who invested years of their lives to create them?

More money for beer, and anyway 1600-2000 for a full price digtel game what I can't sell when I have finish with it unlike hard copys is hardly cheap and that don't include DLC and deluxe and gold versions milking you for more.

Plus a lot of these games now have anti copy software what slows down the performance(and possibly damages your processor) and micro purchases designed to milk you for every bit of cash.

And most the AAA games are made by faceless corporations so I don't feel guilty.

Maybe you are right about indy games but I don't really play them to tell the truth.

G2A and Kinguin are legal, grey-market-ish sources.

I purchased a Win10 Key OEM PRO 64 (they mostly sell games but have some SW) from Kinguin, it was ~ 25 USD at the time, closer to $31 today, a few months ago and it was fine.

Cheapshark to check the deals and then buy anywhere, i mostly use Steam, GMG, GOG, and sometimes websites that sell discounted cd keys. Never had any issues.

Funny you should say that. I just bought Half Life 2 from steam for 18.9 Bhat (updated version) + other related titles for 15.9 Baht. I bought a pirate version of it when it first came out and paid £10 for it.

I have been using GOG.com for over twenty years and recommend it.  If you install their downloader, GOG Galaxy you get free features such as free Cloud saves.  They have a forum, a community and you can play multiplayer games there.  The games are legal, affordable, and they have a wide selection.

Just added The Orange Box to my STEAM shopping cart. Forgot the price. 44 THB? 49 THB? Several Half Life titles. Soul Reaver @ 23 THB. DECENT trilogy, my first ever video game ☺️, for 150 THB? And I was looking on Fleabay for CDs.

if only I can find "Far Cry 1"...
