Hi there,

I would  like to buy a mountain bike for man. It's for ride 1 hour everyday in town and in countryside to play sport. Could you recommend a good brand name or a model ? I have a tight budget, less than 10.000 THB.

Cheers

Have a look at Trinx & Twitter bikes.  For 10,000 baht you can get a decent bike.  Make sure it has alloy frame, at least 24 gears (3x8) & is available in your size.

Not for serious downhill rides ;-)

What tips could be there? The more expensive the bike, the better it is. Of course, you need to choose a well-known manufacturer, for example Trek or KTM, there are also many other good manufacturers.

You need a 20" bike, none of the cheap ones in Thailand will fit you, they're all for short Thais.

You might manage to fit on an 18" if you raise the handlebars with an adaptor.
