Which doctor is actually informed and actively advises on Keto Diet?

For instance, I want systematic tests of a point of entry, interim tests of critical yard sticks, blood tests, etc.

Are you using such a doctor in CM?

Btw, Dr.Berg seems to be a solid YouTube source

Probably best to seek out a qualified nutritionist as most doctors I have encountered both here and in the US would prefer to medicate/operate than provide nutritional guidance.  I think it would be especially hard here in Asia as rice and noodles are the cornerstone of their diet.

Keto is something that you really need a support group and a doctor in order to effectively pursue it.  Plus according to Dr Verdin, it take a heck of a lot of discipline.  It's probably going to be tough to find a doc or a Keto support group here in the LOS.

Back to Dr. Verdin.  He admits to giving up Keto (due to the amount of self-discipline it takes) and instead plans to switch to intermittent fasting.  Video interview with Dr. Verdin and Dr. Patrick linked below.  Worth a watch.

Thanks for that link.  I’m definitely going to watch the video (too late to start tonight).  You are right that it takes a lot of discipline to stick to a keto diet and I do find myself falling off the wagon from time to time.  I wonder if the self discipline could be affected by ones personal reasons for eating that way.  For myself, I don’t do it for weight loss as much as I do it for the anti inflammatory properties.

Once again, thanks for the video. ?

How about me?  I am a nutritionist - because I say I am.

"While only a dietitian can use the title "dietitian," it's important to understand that the term "nutritionist" itself is not protected. In regions where nutrition and dietetics are not licensed or regulated, anyone can call themselves a nutritionist, whether they're qualified or not."

I have been low-carb for a while now. Yes some discipline is required but the results are rewarding enough to keep going. Blood tests show all markers are very good and getting even better.
