VBF
In 2007 I visited a "monkey temple" in Phang-Nga - Wat Suwannakuha https://www.thailandee.com/en/visit-thailand/wat-suwannakuha-phang-nga-184 At the time it was absolutely lovely but it may have changed, as sadly Phuket has. Although, if you've only got 3 nights, it'll take a day out of your trip. Edited May 28, 2018 by VBF

That water is fed by two filthy klongs on the north and south. When that water gets all foamy and brown it's quite a site and smell. Kata noi much better but who knows how far a turd can float.
