Hi Crossy et al

You will see the cementitious "lantern" on top of the column in the pic.

There will be at least one more identical elephant lantern on another column for the gate door.

Then there are all the other columns........all supplied with conduit sticking out top and bottom......I may use a smaller variety of lantern but similar.

The top of the lantern is a lid (heavy too!) but water could also creep in here as well as round the elephant.

If the rain rains and the wind blows, obviously the bulb and fitting need to stay dry.

Wondering what you think the best.

Occurred to me LED fittings can be quite cool.......an inverted clear plastic jar might be used over a fitting at the bottom without melting?

(Don't want the fitting attached to top as cannot open to change bulb/whatever.)

Thanks as always
