May 28, 20187 yr No eye doctor specializes in this, any opthalmologist can treat it. In Chiang Mai, Prof. RUTCHADA SIRIWANASAN is recommended. She can be seen at Chiang Mai Ram hospital or at Sripat. http://www.chiangmairam.com/searchdoctor1?major_id=133&doctor=&page=2
May 29, 20187 yr Actually I had a dry eyes specialist in Bangkok some years ago and paid a lot for Restasis and GenTeal treatment for dry eyes. Doctor was a published research writer on such treatment. I found it less than effective and the very expensive restasis did not appear to be of any help (testing was done very poorly by office staff which perhaps made it look better than it was). Today use damp washcloth upon waking and when required Vislube. Try to blink often.
May 29, 20187 yr Buy some Saline Solution at most pharmacies, give yourself a blast each morning when you wake up .. and as many time during the day if you wish. Buy some eye drops at the pharmacy . If you can find drops with no preservative buy it.
June 1, 20187 yr Every now and then I get a small area that I see as grey/brown in my right eye ... An eye doctor said 'dry eyes' and recommended some eye drop (eye drops for dry eyes) ...a few seconds after one drop is put it the problem fades away ... so he must be correct .... When the dark area appears it is always after using PC or phone screen As suggested above I will try saline solution ... it's far cheaper ... thanks
