There was a post on here about a new version of Gmail

Supposedly arriving starting next month. 

 

On 5 of my 6 gmail accounts I've been offered the chance to change to  a new version this morning - This I assume must be what that post is talking about.

 

Has anyone else  had this or am I especially honored for some strange reason?

I've been using it for a couple of weeks.  I like it very much.

I use K-9 Mail

It was turned on this morning. It appears to be ok and stable.

It looks ok. The `compose button` is a bit over the top. I got rid of the snooze folder.  But where did the `contacts list` go?

 

Edit: Found contacts. It is now situated under the apps (nine dots RH upper corner). You can move it to the top by dragging it up to the most used apps.
