Toe nail removal, where perfectly done?

Featured Replies

I had it done once, unsatisfactory result .Nail bed removal incomplete, half side grew back.

It should take only a few minutes, root removal essential

Where did you have it done without complaints?

I knew I shouldn't have clicked on this.

much quicker than watching a tail docking...

Searching for photos of me castrating young calves on the farm.Still feel the guilt?

For marathon runners, pulling out the toenails, a month prior, is commonly done. Avoids trouble during the race.

I'll stick to bicycling and ruin my knees, thank you.

My son has a recurring problem with an ingrowing toenail.  It's been treated twice at an A&E and now needs a decent specialist.

By a strange coincidence, he came to tell me it was giving him a lot of pain at almost the same time the OP made this post.  Hope someone can persevere through all the unhelpful comments and come up with a useful recommendation with out delay.

I can't address complete removal, but I can certainly speak to fixing an ingrown toenail.

Podolgy Center Chiang Mai... they completely corrected several recurring toenail problems that I had been having for 40 years despite numerous hospital or podiatrist visits.  These days I go back once every 3-4 months for a 'tune-up.'   I haven't had a flare up many years and doesn't look as if I ever will again!

I concur.  Suggestion: Ask for Khun Wuttipong.  He does excellent work.

Thanks to FG and Pronto.  I'll report back on the outcome (without any gruesome illustrations).

No anesthetic?

It's done with an injection of local anesthetic prior to starting the video recording.

I found the right Doc

Ms Siripan Unachak at Ram . She is one of the emergency doctors on the ground floor, old building.

What made the difference to the other doctors in other hospitals=

not only did she listened well but in order to truly remove the nail bed,

she used an electric needle which burns the cells away. No worries, No Pain, nothing tiny needle for local anesthetic
