Police in Kanchanaburi are investigating a shootout between rival groups at the Ban Chuk Krapao lake in Jorakae Phuak sub-district of Kanchanaburi on Saturday night.

 

Found dead in one spot was Patchara Phuangklang, 35, with a shot to the head and one to the cheek. A total of 26 shell casings were discovered at the scene by the road.

 

Fifty meters away was the body of 29 year old Khanchai Pradapsuk who had been shot in the chest three times.

 

A green motorcycle was found on its side at the scene along with a 9mm gun and 8 casings.

 

Three people were hit by stray bullets at this scene.


Dan Makham Tia police said that two rival groups had met for a shoot out at the lake on Saturday night, reported Daily News.
