Chai Nat father urges daughters to return to sick mother

A father in Chai Nat on Wednesday called on his two daughters to return home to see their paralysed mother one more time as he is not sure how long she will live.

The father, Prakorb Yimyaem, 54, said his two daughters have not returned or called home for over a year.

Prakorb has been taking care of his wife, Sayan Sriwiroj, 49, who was paralysed three years ago.

Since Prakorb also has to take care of his mother, Prapim Rodsamphao, 69, he could often not leave home so he could only do odd jobs and earn around Bt2,000 a month. He said the allowance for his disabled wife and mother of Bt2,200 was barely enough to buy adult nappies for his wife.

Prakorb said his wife was now longing to see her two daughters one more time.
