The suspect, 24-year old Rungroj Pokham, was presented at a press conference held at Chanthaburi provincial hall by governor Witoorat Srinam. Police also seized from Rungroj’s possession one shotgun and three bags used to contain the gaur meat. Rungroj told the media that he decided to turn himself in to the police because he could no longer stand the pressure exerted by the police. Popular Post George Bowman Posted June 27, 2018 Popular Post Posted June 27, 2018 I have visited this national park many times and it holds some natural delights. On one trip my park guide pointed out a mineral lick and said this is where the gaurs often visit and that these locations are where many poachers ambush these great animals. 3
