CHIANG RAI, 3 July 2018 (NNT) – Thailand's Minister of Interior has attributed the success in finding the 13 missing lives in Luang cave to cooperation between all relevant units.

Minister of Interior, Gen Anupong Paojinda, explained that the 13 members of Moo Pa Academy youth football team, who went missing in Luang cave for up to nine days, are to be removed from the cave through the route plotted by rescuers in advance, but added that more water must be drained first so that the children will not have to be submerged during their evacuation.

He assured that preparations have been made in response to forecasts of more rain over the next 2-3 days and that authorities are expediting the evacuation.

Two rescuers are to handle each member of the football team during their emergence from the cave, which is expected today. Gen Anupong attributed the successful operation to cooperation between all teams involved.

The minister added that assessments of damage to nearby farms is already taking place and asked that members of the public not worry that impacted crops will not be compensated. He stated full assistance will be provided.

I really dont understand sometimes why people open their mouth, when they are incapable of doing so, without saying something stupid. Much as I and everybody else would love to see those boys walk out of there today, we all know it is not happening. I think I know who is going to win the idiot of the day award.

Has he just invented that story?

It was on Thai news each boy will be accompanied by 2 Navy Seals not sure if it's gonna happen today though.

Not denying that, but it was said earlier that it took the expert cave divers days to be able to find them and conditions meant it took hours from the entrance to where they were found. Also, it said they can't swim.

Incredible they have been found, but this is now the real deal IMO. And they certainly won't be making their way out any time soon.

No doubt trying to gain some kudos. Instead, he's in danger of losing those he might have.

He may well be taking this opportunity to grab a piece of the media attention but, if this part is achievable ...

... I think a lot of people would be much happier about the prospects of the boys and the rescuers getting out unharmed.

Absolute BS.  The success was due to a skilled non-Thai [farang] professional doing what he was trained to do and using critical thinking to go above and beyond to save the day.  What an embarrassment for the Thai Navy 'Seals' team, among other Thai 'rescue' groups, that they're so absolutely incompetent since they lack critical thinking skills.  Of course, this is how they're taught beginning in preschool so they're not totally to blame for their failure.
