Hardware for sliding Barn door style doors.

I am in search of hardware similar to seen below. I have two 3.5cm thick 80x200cm doors which I would like to install between my kitchen and dining room aperture. I can find modern style versions, but ideally we'd like to go with this.

Such a simple idea with what appears to be the c channel inverted. if only it was that easy here!!

Finding something like that will be....well please tell me if you do

I fitted some sliding doors recently, well 6 doors all folding back but the gear I used reluctantly was hafele track and sliding door gear. It did the job but I found it expensive and very difficult to set up. however they are top quality nylon or neoprene rollers

other companies offering sliding and folding door gear are Moduform which you can get at Home Pro or Kor Home, Thai watsa and the likes.

I just wonder if you could by some standard sliding door gear and adapt it to incorporate your black enameled  Ye olde English style with door studs

Eyecatcher. I have seen the version you mention. We saw Yale and a Japanese brand. Yoshino which may have to do. Our home has a rustic old Thai house feel, so it would work well.

Not sure if you mean to add decorative black iron or not. Perhaps we could so that later. It's a new build so we could install a mew version with the above mentioned and if that just doesn't meet our wishes, try as you mention. Thanks for the suggestion.

Any metal shop should be able to make those very cheaply out of steel, painted black. You would just need to find the wheels somewhere, and that should not be hard at all.

Dual doors ... perhaps like this:  https://www.amazon.com/WINSOON-Sliding-Hardware-Cabinet-Antique/dp/B01KC98EQ0/ref=asc_df_B01KC98EQ0/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=216722907098&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5469937529456105426&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9008420&hvtargid=pla-376966505971&psc=1

The above link has very nice closeup pics of the hardware & etc.  Or just search for "double sliding barn door hardware" on Amazon.  They even have bypass styles. Someone local should be able to make or scrounge most of the hardware.

Agree1  they could also make them out of stainless and would most likely have the wheels also as they make sliding metal gates.

Go to Ali express and type in barn door hardware. You will see a bunch of what you are looking for at a Cost of 2000 - 5000 baht. There is a free trade agreement between China and Thailand and I have never been hit with import taxes when ordering on AliExpress.

Aliexpress have shipping problems at the moment.

Nothing I've ordered has arrived in the past month, dispute and refund on everything.

I've even resorted to paying extra for tracking all the way, but the tracking doesn't work any more either.

That’s unusual. My wife orders something at least one a week on AliExpress and we haven’t experienced any issues with delivery. We just had some toy “minions” arrive yesterday which were ordered 2 weeks ago.

Having said that I had a package from the US impounded in customs duty last week which meant a trip out to Chang Wattana on Tuesday to pick it up. It was the first time in about 6 months they have impounded anything from the US.

Very good guys. This is a new house build and these doors serve as useful decorative feature that we can be patient with and DIY if necessary. These sites have provided decent prices and attractive designs.

I'll keep u posted on the outcome. Other issues are at the forefront presently.

Good news, I found them today in a place that never has anything you want Global.

2m long track, so for two doors you would need 2

look very nice, in wrought iron style..

The bad news or maybe not...they are 5k a set.

And here is the proof

Look nice, but I could have them made at the local metal basher for less than 1000 baht a set or buy the material and make them myself for less but they would be welded, not bent!
