New 2019 PCX 150

Featured Replies

I’m about ready to buy a new PCX 150 and see that Honda has released a new model with upgraded specs in July 2018 calling it a 2019.

Is this model available in Thailand now as well

TIA

A new model came out a month or so ago. It’s got better lighting, new style alloy wheels and a few other bits & pieces.

I googled for it and all i found are some third party sources which say that the 2019 model will be released in the USA in July, and the info on the honda.com website: http://powersports.honda.com/2019/pcx/options.aspx

But to me it seems like this model is not available anywhere right now.

I think you won't be able to by this model in Thailand before the end of this year.

The in Thailand current PCX is out several month already. If I remember correctly it came out in December 2017.

Honda recommended a retail price of 82,300 THB.

When it first cam out the Honda dealers wanted 98000 THB in my area, and sold  only on monthly payments (for min. 1.59% per Month!).
If you wanted to pay cash: "Sorry, no stock available"

Now the price is down ? to 89,000 THB but it is still more then the suggested Honda price.

This week Honda Thailand presented the PCX Hybrid:

https://www.aphonda.co.th/honda2017/th/motorcycle/automatic/new-pcx-hybrid-2018

Still without ABS.  In Indonesia the bike cost 90.000 THB (With ABS?).

In Thailand it cost 120,000 THB without ABS.  People in Thailand are so keen to drive a Honda PCX they happy to pay more and get less.
I like Honda, usually good quality but if you want to drive PCX segment, a Yamaha Nmax or Aerox represents better value and fairer pricing.

Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid also released this week:

62,000 THB Hybrid with ABS and Smart Key.

Your 2019 Honda PCX is sold in Thailand since late 2017. It is the same thing.

This is a thai site from December 2017:

https://www.Autospinn.com/2017/12/2018-all-new-honda-pcx-ราคา

and this is your link:

http://powersports.honda.com/2019/pcx/options.aspx

Same thing, only difference is that in your market the same bike is available with optional ABS and in Thailand it is only without ABS available.

What you expect, that they advertise in late 2018 a "all new PCX from 2017"?

In Spain same bike with just 125ccm and only ABS:

http://www.honda.es/motorcycles/range/scooter/pcx-125/specifications.html

All the same but tailored for different markets.
