Unlucky Korat dog, shot with arrow, gets lucky

A stray dog in Nakhon Ratchasima underwent emergency treatment on Thursday morning after it was found crying in agony with a fish-hunting arrow embedded in its back.

 

Natthawut Chuaklang, 51, heard the dog in distress and found it lying underneath her van parked outside her house in Moo 12, Tambon Loom Khao.

 

 

She called None Sung district’s Hook 31 rescue unit, whose responders determined that the arrow had not penetrated deeply.

 

They removed it at the scene, tended the wound and sent the dog on its way.
