webfact Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Headless and handless corpse found floating in popular Kanchanaburi tourist river Picture: Daily News Rescue workers found the corpse of a man floating in a popular river in Kanchanaburi where many tourists stay. The corpse had had its head and hands removed presumably to conceal its identity. When Sai Yok police arrived rescue teams had hauled the body to the bank of the Kwai Noi river. It was of a dark skinned man about 150cm in height. He had a "hanuman" (monkey god) tattoo on the left arm and some scraps of clothing at the waist. No locals recognized him and they surmised he was a worker from Myanmar. Police said that at least two murderers were probably at work in this case. The area is popular with tourists with many resorts on the rivers. Investigations continue. Source: Daily News -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2018-08-14
