Trump Erupts in Incoherent Rants After New Court Brief Details How He ‘Resorted to Crimes’
Not at all. Trump has been exposed and documented multiple times as a dishonest man who has abused his subcontractors and tradespeople, refusing to pay them in a timely manner. His multiple failures that included bankruptcies speak to his poor business management skill. He squandered the multi million dollar fortune that his father left him on bad real estate investments. Trump lurched from failure to failure failure until the boy from Essex, Mark Burnett made him a celebrity with the Apprentice series in 2004. Burnett created the image of a successful man. The fact is that if anyone lists all the failures and deceitful acts of Trump to his followers, they refuse to listen and become hostile. Their response when confronted with court verdicts and the hundreds of judgements against Trump is that it is all conspiracy,a creation of an imagined deep state, despite the court cases going back 40+ years. -

Bangkok Streets to Undergo Significant Improvements
Who remembers the SEA Games in Winter 1998? That was the glorious moment, when the city of Bangkok "repaired" all the pavements on lower Sukhumvit in record time and, you have to give them that, they did a sterling job. The pavements were beautiful, "pram proof" and a pure joy. Once the SEA games were over a few weeks later, the same city administration sent out the workers again to collect all the concrete blocks from the pavements and left an even worse disaster behind than before. So witnesses by me living on Sukhumvit Soi 6 near the Nana intersection. I asked for details in a "letter to the editors" of the Bangkok Post or The Nation and that's where the bucket stopped - for good - and nobody ever reacted on the issue. Somchai must have "rented out" concrete blocks for a month on a monthly basis as a friend of mine, living on Thonburi side, told me a carbon-copy story in 1999 in connection with a special occasion related to an anniversary of royals. Once the festive weeks were over = concrete blocks collected again 🙂 -

Chiang Mai on High Alert as Ping River Surges Beyond 5.25 Metres
1 hr ago. The Ping has overflowed at the U-Turn under the bridge near NIS school, now impassible. The ground water and storm drains in our moo ban are starting to back up a good 2km from the Ping. -

Harris Lies, Americans Die. Illegal Aliens are more Important
Jimmy Kimmel? Really? Who watches him anymore? Ever since he stopped exploiting women he has been boring. Glad to see though that you get your opinions on current events from washed up comics. -

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
Does sum it nicely. Having owned 15 ish used ICEVs in USA (1 new truck), and include hippie dippy van, to station wagons, family sedan, domestic & imports, trucks, sports car & luxury cars, I think I can speak from experience. Include the 4 new ICEVs bought here / TH, and our BEV, same make / model as one of the ICEVs owned here (MG ZS), I can honestly say, there really is no comparison. BEV being far superior in every way. Only 1 exception, the Caddy was a damn comfy ride. Aside from that, a POS. And I didn't just drive cars in the USA, being poor, I tore apart & repaired them myself. From simple maintenance, tune ups, set points, tach & dwell use, to engine, trans & rear swaps. All served me well, as expected at least, and a couple, damn fun to drive. Some good, some you get what you pay for. With that, I'd never buy another ICEV. -
