Organized crime taskforce arrest hitman in Satun province

An organized crime police taskforce in Satun Province has nabbed a hitman ranked 33rd on on the Crime Suppression Bureau's most wanted list.

An organized crime police taskforce established by the Royal Thai Police Deputy Commissioner General, Pol Lt Gen Panupong Singhra na Ayuddhya (ภาณุพงศ์ สิงหรา ณ.อยุทธยา ), issued arrest warrant for Mr. Rat Khunram (รัตน์ ขุนล่ำ), a hitman charged with homicide in Suratthani province. The arresting unit was led by Pol Lt Col Suwat Wongpitoon (สุวัตฒ์ วงศ์ไพบูลย์), the head of the organized crime taskforce, and Pol Lt Prasert Thongpleaw (ประเสริฐ ทองเปลว), the Deputy Inspector of the Kwuankalong (ควนกาหลง) district precinct in Satun province.

Police reported that Mr. Rat evaded authorities by hiding out in Satun province under the guise of a rubber plantation worker.

Pol Lt Col Suwat revealed that the suspect is an infamous hitman operating in the southern provinces, and is ranked 33rd on the Crime Suppression Bureau's most wanted list.
