It's now illegal to abandon animals at temples

Oh dear. A lot of unwanted pets will now end up in a black bag with a breezeblock and will get dumped in the nearest deep water.

 

The monks at our local temple still welcome unwanted pets. In the provinces where there are fewer people and more space it is not such a problem. Temples should be allowed to act at their own discretion.

Okay, then the dogs will be Soi dogs instead of temple dogs. Even worse. About one year ago I got bitten by a Soi dog in Soi Buakhao. It is still roaming around there with its many friends and laughing at me. Nothing changed.
