12call 300 Mbps. Any good?

Featured Replies

Anyone using the 12call 300 Mbps service? Any good?

I may need mobile internet for a while. In South Pattaya area using iPhone 8 Plus.

The highest download speed I've attained in South Pattaya is around 2 MB/s. These were download speeds from some of their Volume packages.  I've never gone for any up to 300 Mbps packages(which in theory would be as much as 37.5 MB/s) These were download speeds from some of their Volume packages.

So I don't know if one is attenuated as compared to the other or whether that just what you get.

Now if I need it, I'll just subscribe to their unlimited 10 Mbps(1.25 MB/s) package which is good enough.

Your location might offer you a better(or worse) result.

"at max speed of 300 Mbps"

A theoretical number/limit of the underlying technology.
Completely utopian under realistic conditions.

What it says: you get unlimited un-throttled speed as available.

I know that there are cheaper 30 day packages.

It has been discussed repeatedly in the mobile forum.

Yep, both signal quality as well as number of users in a certain area influence the speed.

In certain spots in central Pattaya I sometimes even had problems to get a stable voice connection (call drop) and voice quality quite poor.

In my home region I usually just book 4 Mbit/s or 6 Mbit/s one day packages.

Good enough for video calls/watching.
