So on the original discussion, I stated dating will get harder for men as countries get richer. Someone disagreed and said countries are not getting richer. I wanted to respond to this

Compare China now to 20 years ago...can we seriously say it's not richer now ??

And look at this chart, do we refute these statistics ?

When you start mentioning countries richer then it’s not dating but P4P. With prices being asked in Thailand , it’s already cheaper to have a date in the West ?

I've not had many dates in the west that cost me less than 50 quid recently, the last one was with a 60yo woman and no result (which was probably for the best).

It isn't about countries, it's about welfare.

Without welfare single moms need to earn, so 'dating' is fairly easy.

Yes that is vary true but there is another factor to be considered not necessarily where there is a monetary balance.   Many Western people would rather have a liaison  with a pretty Thai lady rather than an old hag from Sheffield.

Also true ,but  plenty of pretty Thai , Korean, Japanese etc in massage parlours back home ?

Yes welfare is a big factor, however as countries become richer so they can afford to make larger payments.

I'm no expert but as I understand it welfare is less generous in the US, and from what I've been told women there are extremely picky.

17) You will not discuss the specifics of prostitution. Though Thailand has a visible sex industry, and acknowledgement of that fact is not forbidden, ThaiVisa is not the place to seek or give information on this topic, regardless of your sexual habits, preferences or orientation.
