Most larger hotels offer baggage storage for guests.  If a guest plans to tour in other areas, most hotels will hold bags for a guest who has made a return booking. 

I know a lot of guys who come to Thailand periodically and stay at the same hotels who keep their Thailand wardrobe permanently at their hotels, never having to lug the bags out of the country.
