October 1, 20187 yr Hi All, I'm wondering if somebody could help point me in the right direction for finding a domestic helper. I would like to know where to look and what rate I might expect to pay. For now I think I need someone mostly just to cook, clean, shop, do laundry, etc. but in the future I fear I may need someone with a bit more of a nursing/medical background. My father has early stager dementia/Alzheimers type symptoms and right now he mostly just needs someone to clean, cook, shop, remind him to take his pills, etc. This person could be live in or just come 6-7 days per week. Where do you look for such a person? What kind of rate of pay would be normal for Chiang Mai? My father has a large, newer home with an extra bedroom and bathroom. It's a bit out of town but not too far. Thanks.

References as well if possible.
