It's "just" a missing person and I can't remember having seen anything/anywhere.

Did the OP hesitate to mention that he is missing on Ko Tao?! (from the Dutch report)

I expect we won't see it in the news before happy end or "body found".

Let's hope for the best.

After searching through the forum I must admit that there were similar missing persons who made it to the news and created long threads.

Assuming that the local authorities had been informed I can't tell why the usual food-chain of police telling local news sources wasn't triggered.

Missing person last seen on Koh Tao (?) usually sounds alarming.

You haven't seen it in Thaivisa because Thaivisa does not make news reports, it's just a forum that aggregates news sources' reports and re-publishes them.  If it's not in the press/media then it won't be on Thaivisa except when posters bring the subject up as you have done.

The guy has been found in good health in Pattaya, according to Dutch newspapers, and has been there from day 1. Nothing wrong, except that he didn’t take the return flight to NL that he had said he would take.......

Makes me laugh.

Another one on cultural and romantic beach tour to Thailand found in Pattaya

And lets not forget that "Missing persons" posts/topics are against forum rules.

Who would, if you were called a 'hansum' man by a hot chick 20 years younger than the gf at home?
