My mama always said "stupid is as stupid does". If she could only see how far stupid has progressed.

Apparently, violent crime is not on the rise here.

According to the link they weren't shooting at each other because they did not have guns, so no connection with violent crime but if you say that violent crime is on the rise it must be true even though that is irrelevant to this OP.

From the linked report...

"Photos taken at the scene showed that onme of the men was found in possession of a sharp knife, but no gun".

My point was that they were obviously not shooting at each other and, as the police were not involved until after the collision, the only way they could have  information about alleged shooting was from mistaken witnesses.  Geez...

"Police reported that the men were allegedly shooting at each other while racing along the road when the accident happened" - "Photos taken at the scene showed that one of the men was found in possession of a sharp knife, but no gun."

So, no possible way the shooter dumped the gun??????????

But, if YOU say there was no gun, then it MUST be true.

Only a knife, that makes it alright then, as it's not as "violent" as a gun.

Geez................

Come on guys, it's the usual typo.

Shouting, they were shouting at each other.

Well, considering that the collision with the pickup as a result of the mobile fracas was not planned why would a gun have been dumped?  Do you really think that in the split second before impact the rider was able to make the decision to dump it somewhere so effectively that it has not been found?

Geez...

I'm commenting on what was actually reported, I am not saying, categorically, what happened but it could be true, just as your opinion of events could reflect what happened.

Or a member of the public picked it up off the road after the accident.  Could have been a few things that happened to it.

Just because police didn't find it, doesn't mean it didn't happen, or the gun didn't exist.

Geez........

Crime effects everyone on Phuket, in one way or another.
