Paperwork for Chiang Mai Move

Featured Replies

The date of my condo rental start will be November 5. Shockingly and I think YES they are going to, the agents/owner are getting information, and WILL file the TM30. However I need to register as coming from another province. I need to put in a TM 28 form.

TM 30 - Filed by the landlord
TM 28 - Filed by the Tenant

Should I start by going to Airport Immigration at 8 AM Tuesday information desk on where I file and then try to get in at 4 AM - 6 AM on Wednesday November 5th??
Is this a get a number and Que operation?
Should I ask for a copy of the TM30 that Condo agents file along with my documents?

Any comments & suggestions appreciated. I am posting here, not in Visa subsection as in other provinces not a problem. In Chiang Mai, it could be.

You don't need to get there at 4-6 am for a TM28/30. You didn't need to when the office was at Promenada either, the queuing is all non-imm O related.

I've not lodged one at the new office BUT was out there the other day for a reentry stamp and it took 10 minutes. TM28/30 has a seperate office on the right hand side of the new building, there was no queuing there. Go about 2 p.m. and you'll be fine.

Just there a few days ago checking things out the tm30 q is on the 3rd floor. When I took a look there appeared to be about 10 or 15 people waiting with two people setting at a desk. That was at about 2pm on amonday
