Hi,

I used to go into Morya pharmacy when there was only one in Chaweng main road, near the gas stations. Now there are Moryas everywhere in chaweng and lamai.

It used to be a very fair pharmacy with good price. Seems now it became scam like most pharmacies there. I am not sure, still, but I asked a few prices and I was astonished.

In the past, I even refused medecines sold by hospital, to buy them much cheaper in Morya.

Do you know good pharmacies with honest prices?

There is a very good, independent pharmacy on the corner between Big Buddha and Plai Laem temple.

Lovely lady called Joy runs it. Very good English.

I use Morya, as they are more fair priced than some of small pharmacies – one of the local ones is almost double up compared to Morya – and I also use the pharmacy inside BigC. Mind you, Morya has a loyalty card that gives you discount up to 10 percent, the pharmacy inside BigC also has a loyalty card. However I'm not much into buying drugs and medicine, it's mainly vitamins, and oils, and hydrogen peroxide, and natural shampo-products I shop.

 

My cheapest pharmacy in the local "Gai's Pharmacy" in Maenam's soi Walking Street, but she don't have a variety of natural products, which is very good at Morya, and in BigC...????

Thanks much for the replies. Yeah I am member of Morya.

I will try to investigate a bit more. I don t take much medecine but I hate paying something 800THB when it worths 100...! And with medecine it's always hard to know how much it is. Always a big surprise and sometimes you are in hurry to buy.

Try muslim pharmacy opposite of tops central (other exit, to the chaweng beach road)

name is not muslim of course but people running are, and I have no idea what the actual name is. But I heard its pretty cheap and they are selling stuff at retail prices, not more.
