.. Stay loyal to your wife - don't have intercourse with bar girls (especially without a condom): the anxiety I suffered was horrible. Just don't want anyone else to go through that. Cheers. C

It never ceases to amaze me how people - men or women - always think their spouse or girlfriend is monogamous.... and would never give them an STD.  Call me a skeptic.  Believe you still need to be re-tested after 3 months for the HIV virus to ensure you do not carry it

Exactly ! if the risk was so high, knowing how stupid are men and women of this world, harf the world population would be infected.

It is very difficult to get HIV and you really need to try a lot, but of course it is not an information that should be widely spread...

No not "harf" the world, because a huge percentage of the world's population is not sexually active or are monogomous, that is faithful to their partners. However  in some places particularly subsaharan Africa the rates, which are calculated as a percentage of the adult population are in reality, just as frightening, for example, Swasiland, Lethosa and Botswana all have reported incidences  of HIV exceeding 20% of the adult population. In 2016 the larger countries in the region have reported large numbers of deaths from HIV South Africa 110,000 Nigeria 160,000.

The other problem that in "politically correct" countries such as Afghanastan, Tunisia, Bangladesh and Pakistan, who claim to have low incidences of HIV, we will never know because sexual matters are not discussed, but you can beassured that they are higherthan their religious leaders would admit to.

Thailand was facing an epidemic of HIV in the 1980s but thanks to people like Dr Meechai who fostered sensible education and the use of condoms the incidence has been mitigated and now stands at 1.1% and reported deaths in 2016 as 16,000.

So I suggest that playing down the chances of catching HIV from prostitutes when having unprotected sex is wishful thinking. It is true that the devestation caused

Nice advert for Pulse Clinic. What hours are they open? 24/7?
Sorry, but clinic name, location, cost, how long it took to get results etc are irrelevant to the narrative.

Seems like a plug to me too

Little clinics don’t have “specialists”

Those down playing HIV, read up on all the drugs you can’t take because of drug interactions

Also there are super strains of some the old STD’s making a come back , it don’t look promising

Takes months to get 100% accurate results. If you didn't wait months, your results are premature. You can only get some kind of general scan in 2 weeks, but not accurate.

Normal?  couples are expected to be monogamous because of religious or societal norms?  56% of adults in thailand are "unfaithful" to their "partner" according to some polls, other european countries in the 40% and above catagory    .....  https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/adultery-countries-most-unfaithful-5188791

Some of us are quite happy being with just the one person and remain faithful for reasons other than religion
