Help in changing Samsung TV language

Featured Replies

I am hoping someone here on TV can advise me. I have a Samsung smart TV and it was until recently, set to my native language - English.

This weekend, I happened to use my remote only to find that the language has now changed. I suspect my Thai daughter has been perusing this and that and inadvertently altered it.

The problem is that my TV now appears to be either Dutch, (or maybe Swedish/Norwegian/Danish or another language), and I do not know how to select English as I don't understand any key words, or how to arrive at the language setting. I apologise for my ignorance for not knowing which language the TV is displaying!

One of my drop down menu contains the words:

Beeld                                                                             Beeldmodus                                                                                                                                                             Skermlig                                                                                                                                                       Kontras                                                                                                                                                                                                  Helderheild

Can someone please give me a quick, simple guide through from switching the TV on – to changing the language back to English?

Many thanks in advance.

Try watching below video - suspect you will be able to find it after watching.  Be glad it is not Thai or Chinese now.
