As a committed Brexiteer I take no notice of these ongoing and nonsensical threats from the establishment. Project Fear was a disaster and did not work, time to drop the negativity. To have our country back, in any shape or state, is a far better outcome than to remain in the failed experiment that is the European Union. Constant riots in France, shocking unemployment across the Spain, Portugal and Italy, porous borders and evil NGOs reeking havoc on the social cohesion across the board. Bully-boy non elected eurocrats telling us how to live and think. No. No. No. We will take a nice, fast, hard Brexit and we will be proud to be Great Britain once again.

You are right about sleep mkp. I've been up all night debating the Brexit issue, and EU monetary policy with the misses.

 

We, as a country, pay 1 billion pounds a week, to private individuals for the privilege of borrowing their money (what money is it?). This is all set up by the BoE which is itself a private concern, with some 2000 shareholders. However at least 80% of these shares are owned by 4 people (families).

 

If the treasury needs dosh it has to go through the BoE. Europe has become a banker's haven also. The EU wasn't set up to help 'the people' at all. It has slowly morphasized into a monster, where unelected people are acting as mouth pieces for the elites and can't be voted out of office.

 

The UK needs a large dose of openness and honesty. Brexit is the first step IMO.

Gina Miller is a fund manager, (manages a couple of hundred million) out of the CoL.

 

Her concern that the democratic process must arrive at parliaments doorstep for the sake of due democratic process is nonsense IMO. The ability of the UK to make and adjust its own laws for 40 years has been eroded by the EU, and this, of course, was not part of her argument.

 

She knew that in giving Parliament the final say, it could be railroaded.

Yep, locking yourselves out of the worlds biggest free trade area, so you can spend the next decade at least renegotiating a bunch of second and third tier suboptimal ‘free’ trade agreements adjudicated by opaque arbitration panels is well worth it.

We, as a country, pay 1 Billion Pounds a week in interest because we were forced to borrow money to cover the deficit left to the country at the time the last Labour governement left office in 2010.....and you want to see Labour voted in again! Really!

I think you'll find that most brexiteers are fully aware that as with any major political change, there is likely to be some pain, certainly in the short term, that may well make their own lives more difficult. That brexiteers still believe as they do, in spite of that, should indicate the strength of their beliefs.

Personally I'm more inclined to be suspicious of those who support something that just so happens to also personally benefit themselves, aren't you? Do you believe the intentions of the politician who's trying to pass a bill that will make his family business richer, or the one who's trying to pass a bill that might make his family business struggle?

Maybe all those "remoaner expats ranting on here" actually don't give a fig about Britain, it's future or the people living in it, but just worry about how many baht next month they'll get for their pound, and that's why they are so passionately against Brexit happening.

This National Debt thing is a Red Herring. It's not real money at all. In fact it doesn't exist. It's a con that the bankers have been playing for hundreds of years.

 

China is breaking the banker's stronghold, especially in Africa.

 

The vast majority of money (currency) is fictitious. Where does this money come from? Who are the private powers behind the PRIVATE; FED, World Central Banks, IMF, BoE etc?

 

People need to wake up and smell the coffee. Especially the USA people who's debt to private individuals is half billion dollars for every man woman and child.

The chant will be "project fear" as it always is.  Day after day as the folly of Brexit is exposed the Brexiteers always come up with the same response.  Two years on and I am still waiting for them to give us a "project  positive".  Never going to come I suspect as one by one their reasons for leaving are shown to be impossible to deliver.
