Here's another example.  Wild Theme performed live by Dire Straits in Les Arenes, Nimes, France on September 29, 1992.  I mean, it's such a pretty song.  It generates a certain loving emotion for me.

Go From My Window by Steeleye Span off their '96 release, Time.  Another pretty song.  Yeah, something you could sing to, or even just hum.

Another great pretty song, Last Kiss, this version by Pearl Jam.

Neil's got a lot of pretty songs.  I've been Waiting For You, off of his '69 solo debut.

Here’s a pretty one.

Well pretty hair at least emoji51.png

Three thumbs up!

Ray LaMantagne's live version of Empty from a BBC show back in '08 or '09.  What a pretty song!!!  He added the slide guitar to this live performance which wasn't on the studio cut.  Simply perfect.

One of my favourite Elton John pretty songs, Tiny Dancer, off his '71 Madman Across The Water LP.

Now this is a pretty song . . . Wolves by Phosphorescent from his 2007 release, Pride.  The antiquated vid, even though it's with huskies rather than wolves, is perfect.

Donovan made a lot of pretty songs.  Colours is an especially pretty tune, from his What's Bin Did And What's Bin Hid LP released in '65.

Undeniably a great pretty song . . . Sandy Denny's Who Knows Where The Time Goes.

A pretty Bonnie Raitt song, sung with and written by John Prine.

Beautiful slide guitar on this pretty live performance by KK in Oslo from 2004.  About a dearly departed sister.

Emma Ruth Rundle with a very pretty song, The Shadows Of My Name, from her 2014 Some Heavy Ocean release.

A pretty Bon Iver tune, Flume, from his 2007 For Emma, Forever Ago CD.

Cigarettes After Sex live performance of Please Don't Cry in Bangkok last year.  Damn, had I known they were in town I seriously would have gone.  A pretty number, ain't it?

And such a sweet, low key, pretty song by The Cramps.  Well, perhaps not.

My last pretty song. After this it's time to rock.

As much as i like EJ there was a certain point where I found his songs became just too commercial ( ignoring Crocodile Rock and the Christmas songs etc , i mean , he had to earn his bread and butter ! ) and i lost interest, loved his early stuff with a passion though !!

Here’s one that I remember DLT ( the hairy cornflake ) playing 3 times in a row on Radio 1 when it was released.

It sounds as good today as it did then.

Silver Currents, the title track from To The Wedding's 2014 release.

The Meteors rendition of the Sam The Sham & The Pharaohs '66 classic, Little Red Riding Hood, off their '86 Live II LP.
