Keeping Leaves From Gutters - Update

Just an update on my post of 3 years ago:-

The system worked well and I've had no problem with leaves blocking the guttering. Any leaves caught on the mesh were quickly blown away by the next big wind so did not block the water. 

 

Reason for the update is that I found the green mesh, though still intact has become brittle and crumbly by the years of exposure to the elements. As it happens at the time I ran out of green mesh and finished the job with a couple of sections of similar black mesh.

 

Interestingly the black mesh has not become brittle and crumbly by the years of exposure so am planning to replace all the green mesh with black mesh in the next few days. 

 

Just thought I'd put it out there for anyone who's interested.
