'Tallest Christmas tree in Northeast' lit with 30,000 bulbs

The “tallest Christmas tree in the Northeast” was lit in front of Central Plaza Nakhon Ratchasima on Friday night.

 

The ceremony to light the tree was chaired by former deputy prime minister Suwat Liptapanlop.

 

The tree is 25 metres tall and has a 10 metre wide base. It was made with metal frames and decorated with artificial tree leaves and 30,000 bulbs.

 

Tourists flocked to the area to pose for photos in front of the tree on Friday night.

I hope all the electrical work was installed by qualified sparkies..

Otherwise an accident waiting to happen..

Very similar to one outside Central Plaza in Khon Kaen. No nighttime picture unfortunately.

Pity they have absolutely no idea what Christmas is all about.
