May I have recommendations where to buy a new cellphone in CM? I am afraid of ripped off with Chinese counterfeit.

I don't know about CM specifically.

But if you want to be on the safer side:

go to one of the fancy malls (Central?) and look for the shop of your preferred brand.

Samsung is everywhere, Huawei is almost everywhere, some Apple iCare shops etc. pp.

Also the known chain stores like PowerBuy will less likely sell fake stuff.

Avoid the "tukcom"/booth style sellers if you are afraid.

 

And don't forget: 9x% of the mobiles that you can buy are Made(Assembled) in China of course (Samsung, Apple and all the rest).

Difference is just that the brand assures quality.
