Hi Chainsaw.

 

Yes there are designated stops, but not set in stone.  My experience with Smart Bus, they will pull over if you flag them down. I have seen this multiple times between Kamala and Patong.

There is an app somewhere on the web so you can track the buses. They are quite happily doing pickups and drop off on request these days.

 

To the disappointment of some they are getting quite popular and over the past few weeks I have seen quite a few standing room only (no doubt some will even complain about that!)

Expect driver position monitored by camera. Driver might be in trouble if this really happened.

NOT true;

u can pay 170 baht which is the MOST charged>
I had to pay that one way Kamala-airport cause they didn't have any cards to sell.
