If I drop my wallet and somebody runs off with it and I call the police they will apprehend the thief . What is the difference here with these thieves  running off with Leo Company property ?

  • If that were a truckload of plastic bags, would the local citizenry be as enthusiastic to clean the place up?

  • The beer cans are no good and would be dumped anyway by the insurance company. The locals clean up most of the mess for free. Win Win situation.

  • What, no police on duty at 6am?  I know that I am opening myself up here, but where the bloody hell are they? Good on the locals for cleaning up the mess. Enjoy the spoils of your labor.

In another entirely different area a lorry carrying wigs apparently overturned scattering it's load of hair pieces

locals were quick on the scene & police were reportedly "combing" the area for evidence!!!!!

hey  police..........tip...............follow  the trail of empty  cans

Or the yellow river

Just doing their bit to clean up the mess and get the area operational again in quick order. No need for LEO Beer to worry about a clean-up bill. If they have any issues they should hire better drivers.

So to phrase it differently - Overturned truck looted by multiple thieves?

80,000 cans is about 26 tonnes - how big was the truck?  Was it overloaded?  Was it top heavy?  Did the driver fall asleep or did the brakes fail?  So many questions!

80,000 is only the ones that "vanished" how many others were left behind on the road making my 26 tonne estimate very conservative.

Before seeing your comment I'd got it to 28.33 tonnes. Either way, it's about the max. weight for a 44 tonne gross 6 axle artic in the UK. So, yes, what truck was it on?

Amazon shipping weight 24 x 330ml = 8.5kgs
