Air Pollution Spike over Weekend

Here is the pollution map over the weekend... many outer areas in red... Most likely a mix of weekend car travel & field clearing... Last night in Hang Dong while returning from diner could smell field burning...

These flags can be misleading as they measure only around the immediate area where the equipment is placed - but they are a good indicator.
These pictures where taken yesterday evening in Doi Saket - while towards the mountains in the North- Northeast it was fairly clear there is a huge cloud of smog hanging over the city.
On a clear day I can see the lights of Doi Suthep temple from there and a beautiful sunset - yesterday one could not even see Doi Suthep it was covered in smog!
