Marijuana shipment doesn’t get far

A 32-year-old man was arrested in Khon Kaen’s Nam Pong district late Thursday night allegedly transporting 495 kilograms of marijuana worth an estimated Bt5 million to a customer in Phetchaburi.

 

 

Highway Police 4 commander Pol Colonel Apichat Phochan told reporters on Friday that Phetchaburi native Sawapop Odthon was arrested at around midnight after failing to stop at a narcotics-suppression checkpoint on Mitraparp Highway in Tambon Moungwan.

 

Police claimed Sawapop admitted he was to pocket Bt250,000 for driving the marijuana to Phetchaburi in a deal arranged by a former jail mate from Udon Thani.

some people are so far out of the loop its amazing. so i hope you are kidding.

 

for 1, $20/g in usa is rare. unless you are way in the middle of no where and want the primo weed.

its usually around $5-$10/g everywhere else.

 

for 2, usa already has this s%&t weed. its from mexico. mexican schwag. its of equal s#@t quality. people who have a few bucks stay away from this 'dirtweed' as they call it.

 

the reason this stuff is so cheap is because you pretty much need the whole kilo to smoke to get any bit of a high.

 

calling this stuff "marijuana" is an insult to marijuana everywhere.

Really dude? Where ya been? Decent weed in the dispensaries in AK, LV and WA is $20 a gram. Indoor hybrids. Hell, a preroll with shake is $16. My last plug in Charlotte NC was running me $15 a gram of street strain.

 

Mexican Schwag? Where do you live or I should say what era? No one smokes Mexican weed in legal states and I havent seen Mexican weed except in Arizona. 

 

This local stuff is just fine. They cure it nicely, and the compression seems to concentrate the THC content, which is lower than hybrid USA greenhouse controlled strains, but still,  if you cant get off on a few hits of Thai weed, take a break for a while and clean out.

 

 

You can find weed online in Canada for as low as 1,050 CDN per pound (454grams) This is mid-grade (13%THC) but great value. Higher grade is readily available for $4.50- $7.50 a gram. While weed up to an ounce is legal in Canada it is supposed to be purchased through licensed shops and websites. However, there are many Medical/Compassionate websites that operate outside the law that seems to be tolerated for the moment. I would not consider using any illegal drugs in Thailand. Thai Stick used to have a great reputation back in the 60's, 70's, 80's. I doubt they have kept pace with the developments of high-grade strains and high tech growing facilities in North America. That said, at 10 baht a gram, you can't expect "primo shit".
