I thought I spied a "For Sale" sign a while ago at the entrance to the small soi..........will have a look again to see if that is still there or indeed if the resort is still operating.

I popped in there this afternoon, and there was no "for sale" sign to be seen, however when I went into the resort itself, it looked empty bar one room??

 

There were two people in the reception area, so I asked if the previous owners were available and from what I could gather the Thai lady there had a husband called Steve, and now the place was owned by Chinese??

 

I did ask for her card and have it here with an email address and if you want it, kindly send me a PM and I'll let you have it as I don't think I can post it here?

 

Having said that, if you were thinking of booking something, then please be aware that the small klong that runs alongside of the place looks very "unsavoury" to say the least, as is the odour emanating from it.

Thanks for your investigations. Last time I stayed there was 2011 or beginning 2012 I believe. Keith, as far as I know, did not own but rent the place. I guess some Chinese outbid him. It was during that time Chinese travellers were among the guests at Coconut.

    Scary pic. Keith looks older then his father. This could be the reason why his not longer more in Nanai lol.
