Drop protection

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I’m looking at iPad Pro 11 inch cases (covering front and back), because I might need to buy a replacement for my old iPad and want to be ‘safe’.

The Apple Thai site only shows a very expensive case that does not have corners or sides protection. I’m looking for one that can handle my all too frequent 1 metre drops and is light and kinda like the simple (but highly functional) one I got from Apple years ago.

Lazada and aliexpress don’t seem to have ones in Google’s ‘top cases’ search. Maybe I should use DuckDuckGo.

Cheers

I'd appreciate it if you'd post info on what you find as I'm wanting  the same thing.

I bought the folio keyboard but now  I wonder how safe it is about coming loose from the tablet.   Maybe I'm just experiencing a learning curve.

I went to Studio 7 (formerly iStudio) in Central Festival Pattaya and the only IPad Pro 11” case that offered any protection is UAG Metropolis (they’ve got the RED ones!) for about 2,150 Baht, slightly cheaper than Lazada. Check out YouTube for vids. Most of it seems good, because of the damned Apple Pen there is an issue about protecting the middle of one side as well as the clasp. Hands on will reveal your comfort level with the stand options.
