Are these avail in Thailand and about what price?..Prefer plug pack style but can adapt anything
 
The appliance I will be running on it 100v 70w (Japanese). Its an amplifier so Im guessing the 10V difference shudnt be an issue or would it?

Thanks anyway but I need a step DOWN transformer. Need to convert Thai 220v to 110v. In anycase 2000w overkill as is 5000 baht. Im hoping to get something for 500 baht ???? but thanks anyway

Amorn has them, and depending on where you are I have one bought from them that is surplus to requirements, at a modest discounted price

220 to 110 is the same as 110 to 220, just turn it around.
