Frank, if you live within striking distance of Khon Kaen, you can buy wholewheat flour at the Chaimaha bakery/supermarket, on Tanon Srichan, going East from the market towards Kalasin (ask around if you don't know KK well). They sell it by the kg, (about 35 baht/kg i think) but not sure about rye flour. My wife makes some mean wholewheat bread with sunlower seeds mixed in from it.
