Looking for Gyms - Ari / Sapan Kwai area

I'm looking for recommendations for well-equipped gyms in the Ari / Sapan Kwai area.

I live next to BTS Sapan Kwai and currently spend around 40 minutes commuting daily (on a motorcycle) driving to Fitness 7 Ratchada, which is a large 24hr Gym. The commute has become tiring, so I'm looking for something closer to home. I prefer going in the mornings, or late at night as there are fewer people at those times - suggestions based around all this would be greatly appreciated!

DD fitness at Ari are advertising free trials and have a website to view. I dont know of any other ones near Saphan Kwai, except the small one at Aqua. I was sort of hoping that someone would see the potential for one here, with the newish condos and new ones being built.

Don’t bother- just keep to gentle regular exercise- walking , swimming - otherwise by the time you get to middle age your joints will need replacing- it’s the truth.

Plenty of middle aged active people would dispute your claims, me included, but each to their own.

Are you speaking from experience and do you care to elaborate?

I am 2x middle age and no health problems. Take no medications. Been going to the gym for a long time each time and for many years. Your mileage may vary. But I can't argue with The Truth.

No doubt swimming is good and very low impact. Also the pool is good for rehab if needed.

There's a good gym on Silom across from PP. Don't know how far away from you that is but can use the Silom or Sala Daeng stations.

I concur. Never bothered much with exercise, but always appreciated the importance of physical movement. Middle aged and still got all my own joints.

Most people talking about joints have no clue, its just as an excuse not to exercise themselves.

If done properly going to a gym and training is never a problem 44 worked out heavy and long for years and years no problems what so ever. Never even an injury.

I am far better shape then 90% of others my age group.

Having said that I don't care what others do to keep in shape, their choice. Just had to respond to this misinformation.

To have good joints you just go higher reps if needed to put less stress on them.
