I got a fairly new Black&Decker grass cutter and a mouse has eaten through the cable.

Any ideas about what to do to fix this?

I don't knows much about this kinda thing.

I imagine trying to fix it myself to be dangerous.

It's a simple thing to fix and certainly not dangerous - at least not until you plug it in and find that you have left exposed wire.  The local guy will twist and tape it for 20-40 baht.

If you're not DIY inclined I would take it to your local man.

Is the flex completely cut or just nibbled? If it's just nibbled and no copper wire is showing then a few turns of tape will do the trick.

Dash.

I'll be it's in the middle of the cable too so lopping off the end at putting a re-wireable plug on is a non-starter.

You could put an in-line plug/socket pair, that's an easy DIY although not the cheapest option.

I took it to a local shop, who did it for me, 20 baht. They said they could put a junction thing on but it would be dangerous if it got wet.
