Hi. I am a British National and I'll be sponsoring my wife's spouse visa application to come to the UK. I'll be providing supporting letters with this application- sponsor's support letter, employment status letter, accommodation letter, etc. 

 

My questions is do these letters need to be dated before the date of online application form or can it be after? We have already submitted our form online as per below.

Date of application form submitted online: 2nd March 2019.

Date of the applicant's (my wife) appointment at VFS India: 29th March 2019.

 

Currently all my letters are dated for between 10th-15th March 2019 (we wanted to keep it as recent as possible close to the date of her appointment)- but do these dates on the letter need to be before 2nd March or does it not really matter?

Date is immaterial as your wife will be taking them to her appointment regardless and both dates would be considered recent. Only their content is important. Good luck......
